III.C. Collaborating with school colleagues to enhance student, teacher and administrative capabilities and improve student learning
Reflection: I feel comfortable working with school colleagues in order to further my understanding of technology integration and the role of an Instructional Technology Specialist. It is so important to be able to collaborate effectively with other educators, and technology makes this easier than ever. I love to communicate with other educators via email because it allows for a quick repsonse and a copy of correspondence to refer to at a later time. Working with and learning from other educators is one of the most important parts of being a teacher. I try to improve each day as an educator, and seeing how others teach always helps me do that.

Through the completion of the Facade project I was able to interview two professionals and discuss the Facade information with a third. For the first set of Facade questions I interviewed the Instructional Technology Specialist at Connoquenessing Valley Elementary School, Mrs. Linda Orr. Dr. Anne S. Koch, a third grade teacher, helped me complete the second part of the Facade. I then spoke to Mrs. Angelia Potter about her success implementing technology in a private kindergarten classroom.

For GILT 518, I had the opportunity to interview two educators about the ways in which they assess their students. The time that I spent speaking to them helped me get a better view about how teachers across the country assess students. I wrote a paper about the interviews and was able to compare and contrast the ways in which they assess.
