  4. Determines the type of data that is communicated to each group of stakeholders, how data is presented and the implications of information dissemination.

Reflection: Through the completion of GILT 514 and GDIT 707, I meet the expectation regarding use and communication of data. GILT 514 taught me about the importance of acceptable use policies and how to employ them within a school district. It is important that data communication is regulated in order prevent "over-sharing" of sensitive information. In GDIT 707, I wrote a grant for my school in hopes that the owners of the school will be able to use it to purchase hardware for the upcoming schoool year. I learned the best way to write in order to convey a need, and I discussed how different people within the school would be assessed based on learning.

Rating: Meets expectation

Artifacts:

  • Through the creation of the collaborative technology plan, my team discussed that students would be assessed using 4sight tests at three times during the school year. This is included in our plan, and we discussed the importance of student privacy through our Acceptable Use Policy at the end of the plan.

  • I wrote a grant for a private preschool in order to obtain hardware to further educational needs within classrooms. I talked about different types of evaluation, of both students and faculty, that will take place over time.
