The online teacher plans, designs, and incorporates strategies to encourage active learning, application, interaction, participation, and collaboration in the online environment.

 

Reflection: I made sure to provide accommodations for students with special needs and English Learners in order to ensure their success in the course. I found sites that were also available in Spanish to aid English learners, and I made sure to provide a transcript of the Voki recording so that students of all ability levels could follow along easily. In order to encourage collaboration, I made sure to include discussion boards in various places in my course. All of the discussion boards can be seen on my Schoology site, but I also included my discussion board rubric in the artifacts below.
