Standard I
The online teacher demonstrates competency in using data from assessments and other data sources to modify content and to guide student learning.
Reflection: All students will have the opportunity to earn Badges in Schoology to demonstrate positive reinforcement for behavior. This will help build rapport with the students and enable me to make connections with them early on in the course. Management can be hard online, but I hope to use many of these different badges in order to show the students that I respect their time and dedication to the course content. Additionally, by using assessment tools like EdPuzzle, students will be able to quickly see their scores without a delay. The quiz that I created on Schoology also provides quick feedback because I entered the answers as I was entering the questions. The final discussion board that I created for the course is a way for the students to evaluate the course and provide feedback for me. I enjoy hearing what students thought of different assignments and why they felt that way. It is important for me, as an educator, to be flexible with my instruction and adapt to meet my students’ needs if something isn’t working or designed properly.

the third lesson. -
